Writing tip number Two: inspiriation

Lots of people ask me for tips on how to get ideas, so here are a few:
Look around you! I get my ideas from, like, the way a shadow falls, scenes from my favorite movies, parts of books I like, sounds, tastes, even. The list is endless!
Make something happen that wouldn't happen. Like, someone slips on a wet leaf falling in to the very hands of the enemy...any thing can happen!
Let the story write itself. Train yourself to think of yourself as a mere messenger for your thoughts so they can travel to your paper. And when you are done being a messenger for the day, edit your work.

These always work! Just relax, and have fun with it!

for the last idea "Let the story write itself" i do that a lot but i never come to writing it down, like i always just think....let my mind loose, and a story begins. anything happens, it it very amusing how it just happens and im not thinking about it, its like watching a movie in my mind you know
