Personally, I was sad, but I didn't know Brom well enough to cry. If he had died in Eldest, things might have been different. How did you all feel about it?

i was seriously bummed, but im not really a very sensitive person, so i rarely cry anyway. i think that paolini did a really great job, it was very dramatic.

I am an emotional reader; seriously. I didn't cry, but I gaped and gaped. I was sad; very sad - devastated. =P Though all I was caring about was, "How are they - how are they going to live?" Then I realized how important Brom was!

I was just sad. Brom was a character I really liked, but it wasn't sad enough for me to cry. I was really suprised that Brom was killed off so early (I didn't really even think he would die).

Yeah, it was sad that he went out of the story so fast and he was an important part of the story but still i wouldn't change a thing 'cause its a masterpiece awesome job

I was indifferent. The characters were far too flat for me to really worry about them. That and I knew he was going to die since he was first introduced, simply because that was the cliche.

wow you really know your stuff, congratulations, but yeah you're right, after eragon got his future told i kind of guessed brom would die, because angelina said some one close to eragon will die, i mean saphira won't because she is part of the story, and Roran was out of the story so that left brom, but yeah, good job poker and ice!

i was sad when brom died but not too sad that i was going to cry. But i think that paolini did a good job of how he did the emotions to go with brom and garrow dieing.

Why are there no pointed eyebrows? And why are there no pointed ears? Oh well. I like the person.

I think that it is cool how CP lets one or two people die in each book. You may think that I am evil(which I am, ocasionally, not often), but I keep expecting Arya to die.

As Paolini's wet dream I doubt Arya is dying soon.
