While I was reading other threads it occured to me what if paolini made more than 3 books about eragon? I know it is called the "inheritence trilogy" but what if it went on like harry potter?

ok, I have seen many chris paolini interviews before and he always says that after the 3rd book he wants to take a nice long break and then explore other writing ideas. So i don't think he will write more than three books

I hope not. I am personaly becoming really sick of reading about Eragon, sad thing is that there are only two books so far. Anti moment.

I read a bio on him and he said that ever since he started eragon when he was 15, he decided that it would be a trilogy.

I'm going to expect a prequel trilogy. Either that or some bunch of novels about the dragon rider or many years after the time of Eragon.

I dont think there will be one of those. He had Brom and Oromis say a lot of history.

I just don't see how he can finish the story in one more book. Thats gonna be a really thick book...

Hence it's second name being the "Green Brick".
Very big. Mant purple descriptions. Many pointless scenes.
